Common questions
A CariWU admin has manually reviewed the listing: the photos match the property, the address and map pin are accurate, the price is what is shown, and the landlord account passed our checks. We also rate the real walking route to the nearest campus.
Yes — searching, saving rooms and messaging landlords are completely free. No booking fees, no hidden charges.
On-platform contact protects both sides: you can talk to landlords without giving out your number, every conversation has a record, and our bot protection blocks spam. You can always share your contact yourself once you're comfortable.
Tap "Report this listing" on any listing page — two taps and our trust & safety team reviews it. Listings under review are flagged, and repeat offenders are removed.
Not yet — in-app rent payments and deposits are on our roadmap. For now, we recommend only paying after you've viewed the room and signed an agreement.
